DOPAMONEY ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DOPAMONEY mobile application and website (dopamoney.app). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Authentication credentials (securely managed by Firebase Authentication)

When you use the app, we collect:

• Task data you create (task names, deadlines, stake amounts, completion status)
• Financial transaction data (stakes placed, money returned, money forfeited)
• Streak and performance statistics
• Friend connections and duo mode activity
• Push notification tokens for delivering alerts

When you make payments, we collect:

• Payment information is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment data on our servers. We store only a Stripe customer identifier to link your account.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide the DOPAMONEY service — creating tasks, processing stakes, tracking streaks
• Process payments and manage your wallet balance through Stripe
• Send push notifications about task deadlines and duo mode activity
• Connect you with friends for duo mode stakes
• Improve the app experience and fix bugs

How we store your information

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with security rules that restrict access to your own data. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google) — for authentication and data storage
• Stripe — for payment processing
• Your duo mode friends — they can see your task names, completion status, and stake amounts for tasks staked against them. They cannot see your other tasks, balance, or personal information.
• Anti-cause organizations — when you forfeit a stake, the donation is processed through Stripe. The organization receives the payment but does not receive your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized transaction records may be retained for financial compliance purposes.

Your rights

You can:

• Access your data through the app at any time
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us
• Request deletion of your account and data by emailing us
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings

Children's privacy

DOPAMONEY is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
